Terminator: the Sarah Connor Chronicles is over (unofficially)
This show had sooo much potential. But it was wasted, over and over and over again. And I vehemently disagree with whoever wrote that article that the show went out on top. That last episode was horrid. There was so much they could have done, and laid groundwork for after the second to last week. And then they went and wasted it.
And who knows (or cares) where the show would have gone next? There was just so much wrong with the time line that it was a complete mess. I think this is a mercy kill on the part of the network. And the only people who really wanted it to keep going were Summer Glau fans.
While I am admittedly a Summer Glau fan, there was more to the show that I enjoyed.
ReplyDeleteI still contend that Lena Headey as Sarah Connor was an insult to strong, healthy women everywhere.
They did lose their way for quite a few episodes - it was best when they had more metal and less Riley/Sarah.
I enjoyed the 2nd to last episode (except when they killed Derek unceremoniously) and found the last episode interesting but unsatisfying.
But I care where it would have gone next. :)
I hope the Terminator movie is good.
I agree that the second to last episode was great, there was so much potential. I really think the screenwriters were way to in love with their dialogue.
ReplyDeleteI am sooooo looking forward to the new movie. I have to get T1 & 2 on DVD to watch with James so I can take him to this new one.
